In an industry were competition is high and one-upmanship rampant, it is heartening to hear about actors reaching out to each other and creating strong bonds of friendship

While it may be a long way before Shah Rukh Khan shares a hug with Salman, some of our younger stars are busy adding names to their list of friends.

    Ranveer Singh - Arjun Kapoor

Rumour has it that Arjun and Ranveer were once sworn enemies, apparently fighting over Anushka Sharma.

However, buzz is that after the two actors started work together in their upcoming film Gunday, they bonded over their common interests including gadgets and games.

Ranveer apparently made peace with Arjun by sending him a bunch of flowers after Aurangzeb hit the screen.

    Ranbir Kapoor - Aamir Khan

Ranbir Kapoor may be the toast of the town now after his recent string of hits. And he seems to be making most of the moment by reaching out to his senior colleagues.

Just a couple of days ago, RK was spotted dining out with Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao. Sources say Ranbir went out for dinner with the power couple, as he apparently wanted to make up for missing an appointment with Kiran. But we are sure the three chatted about more than just films.

    Anurag Basu - Ranbir Kapoor

And in the matter of making new friends, it looks like Ranbir is on a roll. And with Anurag Basu, who directed him in Barfi!, he seems to have mixed business with pleasure.

Kapoor recently took his friendship with the filmmaker ahead by announcing their all-new joint venture. The two have joined hands to make films together and are even supposed to work together in a biopic based on Kishore Kumar and another film where the actor portrays a detective.

    Randeep Hooda - Naseeruddin Shah

Randeep has always considered Naseer as his philosopher and guide. The two once shared the stage many years ago when they did a play together.

A while ago, when he was offered two films at the same time, Randeep chose the project that starred Naseer. Though the film has faced numerous delays and is yet to find a release date, Randeep has never regretted his decision. After all, friends stand by each other through thick and thin.
