Miley Cyrus Starring in Fourth Season of 'Hannah Montana'

Honey-bun Miley Cyrus has signed for the fourth season of hit Disney show 'Hannah Montana'.

In the earlier series, the 16-year-old portrayed a normal schoolgirl who becomes a pop star at night. Cyrus was convinced to step in front of the camera again after show executives promised to allow the teenager more control over the storyline, reports contactmusic.com.

"Miley and the producers have proposed a change of setting for season four that will provide the catalyst for wonderful new characters and further expand the storytelling opportunities," said a statement from The Disney Channel.

Filming is set to start early next year.
