Sridevi daughter Jhanvi to act with Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil
Just like yesteryear’s top heroine Radha trying to make her daughter Karthika the new sensation in south Indian cinema Sridevi is also launching her daughter Jhanvi on the big screen with the same ambition. Like Karthika Telugu will be the launch pad for Jhanvi also.
Another similarity between the mothers is both the daughters will have their first film with the son of Nagarjuna. Karthika got introduced in Josh starring opposite Nagarjuna’s elder son Naga Chaithanya and Sridevi’s daughter Jhanvi will do her first film opposite Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil.
Sridevi is very cautious with her daughter’s debut knowing Karthika’s first film with Naga Chaitanya did not do that well at the box office. So to make her daughter more fit and fine for the acting profession sources say Sridevi has sent Jhanvi for training in action and expressions for three months under one Sulochana who was a dance instructor at Kalakshetra for over 25 years.
Karthika is slowly and steadily growing with good films in her kitty. She has an art house film ‘Magara Manju’ (Winter Mist) in Malayalam based on the life of Raja Ravi Varma in which she plays the female lead with cinematographer-director Santosh Sivan directed by Lenin Rajendran. At the same time she is also doing a masala entertainer ‘Ko’ in Tamil opposite Jeeva under the direction of K V Anand.
Will Sridevi’s daughter also be able to invite variety at the very early stage of her career? Wait and watch.
